Goodwood Revival 2026 — The World's Greatest Vintage Motoring Event
Since 1998, Goodwood Revival has been the standard against which every other historic-racing event is measured. For three days each September, Lord March opens his 2.4-mile Sussex circuit to vehicles built before 1966 — and only those vehicles. American classics have a major presence: SCCA-era Corvettes, NASCAR Holman-Moody Galaxies, and pre-1966 Mustangs run wheel-to-wheel with Aston DB4 GTs and Ferrari 250 GTOs in the St Mary's Trophy and Sussex Trophy.

2026 dates
Goodwood Revival 2026 runs Friday 11 September to Sunday 13 September. Gates open 07:30 daily; racing finishes 18:00.
Location and access
Goodwood Motor Circuit, Chichester, West Sussex PO18 0PH. By road: A27 from London (90 min) or M27 from Southampton (45 min). By rail: Chichester Station + shuttle bus. Helicopter pad on-site for serious VIP.
Tickets
Three-day pass: £165–£195 (early bird before April). Saturday only: £85. Sunday only: £75. Children under 12 free with a paying adult. Pre-booking essential — Revival sells out 6 months ahead.
Dress code
Strictly period: pre-1966 dress is required of all attendees. Lurex suits, kitten heels, bow ties, fedoras, 1950s circle skirts. This is enforced; gate stewards turn away modern dress.
Bringing your American car
If your American classic is pre-1966 and you have an Owners Club pass, dedicated club parking is on the infield. Otherwise standard parking (£12 per day) is in fields east of the circuit. Pre-1981 vehicles are MOT and tax exempt under UK Historic Vehicle status — see our import guide.

Pre-1966 sports cars in 15 different race programmes, Battle of Britain Air Display (Spitfires + Hurricanes), the famous Earls Court Motor Show recreation, a fully-operational 1950s high street, the Bonhams auction, and shopping (Savile Row tailors, Cartier, Penhaligons fragrances).

Which American classics fit best
Pre-1966 GM A-body (Chevelle, Tempest), pre-1966 Mustangs (1965 fastback particularly), Galaxie 500, Studebaker Hawk, Lincoln Continental 1961–1963, Cadillac DeVille 1959–1963 are all model-period-correct. NASCAR/SCCA race history adds significant value here.
