AAC Rally of the Giants 2026
The American Auto Club Rally of the Giants is the UK's most prestigious pre-1974 American car concours, held in the spectacular setting of Stratfield Saye House (the Duke of Wellington's ancestral estate) every second Sunday in July. Over 1,000 carefully-selected pre-1974 US classics gather in a single-day event with a strong concours-style atmosphere and the highest entry standards in the UK scene.

Sunday only: gates open 9:00 with cruise-in continuing until 11:00. Judging closes 14:00, prize-giving 16:00. Twelve concours classes covering Pre-1948 Custom, 1948-1957 Restoration, 1958-1964, 1965-1969 Muscle, 1965-1974 Personal Luxury, Pre-1974 Pickup, and special class for Cadillac. Entry: £30 adults, £15 children. AAC members discounted £8.
Getting to Stratfield Saye
Stratfield Saye House is 5 miles from Reading and 50 miles from London, on the A33 Hampshire/Berkshire border. Reading station has direct trains from London Paddington and shuttle bus to the venue. Free parking for ticket holders. We coordinate vehicle delivery via Southampton port for our customers — strategic for Rally of the Giants.
Exhibitor tips
Pre-1974 strict cutoff: no 1975-onwards vehicles allowed. Concours judging emphasises period-correct restoration over modification. Bring documentation: build sheets, factory invoices, restoration receipts. The Cadillac-specific class draws 200+ entries alone — competition is fierce, prize for "Best Cadillac" goes to a 1959 Eldorado Biarritz most years.

Recent winners: 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz, 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible, 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, 1972 Buick Riviera boattail. In the pickup class: 1955 Chevrolet Cameo Carrier, 1972 Ford F-100 Ranger short bed. Pre-war is also strong: 1932 Ford Tudor sedan, 1939 LaSalle convertible.
